Skin Care Philosophy

Skin care plays a role in all aspects of human health just as all aspects of human health affect your skin. It is important to take into consideration a plethora of factors beyond the superficial layer of skin to keep it and the whole body healthy.

Bio

Stephanie Wong is a medical student at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from UCLA in 2014 with a degree in Psychobiology. Stephanie has a strong interest in dermatology and believes there are many factors to consider when taking care of the skin. She recognizes the importance of educating others on how environmental factors, behavior, and supplements may affect the skin and further affect overall health. Stephanie has been involved over the past few years in working directly with the underserved communities in Southern California. She provides patient care and patient education in clinics, outreach, and health fairs. Stephanie’s goal as a future physician is to care for her patients and to teach them to care for themselves especially in proactive ways to help prevent skin damage. By helping patients achieve the best skin health possible, it can greatly contribute to an overall healthy body.
